A day to put you deep in the African rural life and to share with villagers far from the cities and their daily occupation in their fields, homes, etc… A privilege occasion to share with families & the chef of the village, visit of a class room, & maternity, visit of a traditional healer.
1 Journée : Saint-Louis “Au Royaume des Signares”
Early departure at 07H00, after breakfast toward Thiès, going through basketry. Stop at the Guéoul’s baobab site. Arrival at St Louis at about 12h00. Lunch on river side. In the afternoon visits, discovering and ballads on horse carriage to visit At Louis from north to south with the must-visit fisherman’s village of N’Guet N’Dar. Back to Dakar(or Saly) Arrival about 19H00.

Day 2 / LOMPOUL-ST LOUIS-DAKAR

(Depending on the Djoudj national park opening period, the excursion of St Louis could be devoted to a discovery in a Canoe through the back waters of the Birds International Park of Djoudj. Classified world heritage by Unesco, Djoudj is also the third birds reserve in the world. Located 70km from Saint-Louis where thousand of different kind of birds are found. Djoudj is the first water point after the crossing of the Sahara for migratory Birds Then in case of closure, this visit will be replaced by the National Park of Langue de Barbarie located in the Delta of Senegal River to observe seabirds, turtles and impressive Lezards..On our way back: Stop Lunch and continuation in Saly late in the afternoon.)
